"Don’t judge a book by its cover." It’s an age-old saying that is still said today that is meant to remind us to look past first appearances to see what lies beyond . This point of view resonates deeply within my book, "Within To Believe or Not To Believe That is the Unity of Our Greatest Version." The cover art, designed by a talented 9-year-old, my daughter, holds a deep depiction that reflects the book’s soul searching narratives. It also connects to a realistic dream I experienced. This dream shaped the cover and gave me confirmation of the message within.
Don't Judge a book by its cover: The Cover and the Dream That Inspired It
The reason why I say; Don't Judge a book by its cover, is that the cover of the book features a remarkable drawing of a white cobra. The snake is looking deep into the eyes of a woman. They are engulfed by a sunlit sky with birds and dragons in flight. The artwork brilliantly captures the essence of the book’s message, as it embraces a dream that greatly impacted me.
In the dream, I walked through a field of tall grass along a river, searching for a way to cross to the other side of the high rapidly, moving muddy waters. As I walked around a a bend, a human-sized white cobra with piercing blue eyes rose before me. It didn’t infuse fear; instead, it urged me to continue down the path. As I moved forward, more white cobras emerged from the grass, each of them were enormous, with hoods spread wide. They were intensely radiating a powerful yet calming feminine energy. It was if they were there to guide me. Each one revealing itself one by one as if leading me toward my destiny.
The dream was surreal and felt like reality. It was almost as if it were a message implanted that I was being guided down the right path. The energy of the cobras, combined with their blue eyes and serene presence, has still remained with me. This dream became the foundation for the cover and effortlessly intertwined with the themes explored in the book.
Unveiling the Cover’s Symbolism
The white cobra on the cover represents power, protection, wisdom, transformation, and guidance. Much like the cobras in my dream, the book cover invites readers to shed old beliefs and venture into the unknown. The woman gazing back mirrors the internal struggle of deciding what to believe or not to believe.
The dragons in flight amongst the birds add an essence of fantasy, reality, mystery and power, challenging our perception of what’s real. The sun and birds, are symbols of hope within the darkness and freedom, contrast with the surreal creatures, mirroring the tension between illusion and truth.
This artwork is not just an illustration; it’s a visual story. It dares readers to look deeper and question the reality they’ve been programmed to accept.
Themes of the Book: Belief, Illusion, Forbidden Freedom and Self-Discovery
Within To Believe or Not To Believe takes readers on a spiritual journey, urging them to:
Discover the Self: Who are you without the layers of societal conditioning?
Break Free from Illusions: Recognize the narratives designed to control you.
See The Invisible Chains: Become aware of the false indoctrinations around you defined as freedom.
Trust Inner Guidance: Much like the cobras in my dream, trust the signs leading you toward truth.
The book explores how reality is often an illusion; a build molded by a hierarchy of societal lies and forced control. It challenges readers to question absolutely everything and rediscover truth and the power within.
Don't Judge a book by its cover: Why the Cover Art Matters
The choice to feature my 9 year old daughters art was intentional. Children see the world effortlessly without the filters of societal indoctrination. They can easily capture truths adults often overlook. Their creativity and untainted perspective resonate with the book’s call to reconnect with a child like mind to our authentic selves.
The cover unites the emptiness between reality and imagination, illustrating that life isn’t always what it seems. Just as the cobras in my dream revealed themselves to guide me, the artwork encourages readers to trust their own journey, no matter how unconventional it may seem.
Reality as a Lie, Fiction as Truth
One of the book’s most intriguing submissions is that reality as we know it is a lie, and fiction is the truth. This isn’t just a metaphor, it’s an invitation to rethink the narratives we accept unquestionably in life. Legends, myths, and dreams often contain more truth than we realize, acting as mirrors to the hidden forces that shapes our world.
The dragons on the cover embody this idea. As they are often dismissed as fantasy, they represent power, mystery, and the known but yet unseen. Like the cobras in my dream, they are symbols of guidance, urging us to explore beyond the visible and embrace the unknown.
Breaking Free from the Chains
The book’s themes align with keywords like believe within, discover self, and break free from the chains. These aren’t just phrases, they are ultimately calls to action. When taking a deep dive into the book, readers are invited to:
Question the belief systems imposed upon them.
Embrace the unknown as a path to self-discovery.
Rediscover their connection to the divine and the truth hidden within.
See the invisible prison painted around them.
The cobras in my dream and on the cover serve as metaphors for life's journey. The snakes ask us to shed our fear, trust our intuition, and boldly walk the path to our personal awakening.
A Journey for Truth Seekers
If you’ve ever wondered:
What should I believe in a world full of lies?
How do I break free from societal control?
Can fiction reveal deeper truths about life?
Am I truly living free?
This book is your guide to confirmation as you follow along my journey. It’s not just a collection of words, it’s an experience, a companion for those ready to uncover the unity of their greatest version.
A Call to Action
The cobras in my dream didn’t force me forward; they guided and encouraged me, to trust the path and my intuition. Just as my book, Within To Believe or Not To Believe is not here to tell you what to think. It is here to help you uncover the truths already within you.
I can't express enough; Don’t judge this book by its cover. Instead, let the cover inspire you to look deeper, question reality, and maybe you will see the reality behind the fantasy. Don't Judge a book by its cover and be bold enough to embark on your own journey of self-discovery.
